A novel approach to Respiratory Care.

Medivations is a medical device development company based in Brisbane, Australia. We focus on new and innovative solutions to existing medical problems.

Our flagship product is the RESUSS-C cough stimulating device. It automatically stimulates a cough in patients who are otherwise unable to do so by themselves. This helps to prevent pneumonia, chest infections, and atelectasis (collapsed lung). The device may also prove useful in the treatment of Cystic Fibrosis and aspiration pneumonia.  

The RESUSS-C is not yet on the market, but we hope to commercialise it in the near future. Medivations is currently searching for a commercial partner to help us realise this aim.

So far we have:

• Constructed working prototypes
• Secured patents, and patents-pending, in Australia, the US and Europe
• Received numerous awards and development grants
• Completed two successful clinical trials
